    • The Chronomat 1 was actually 40.5mm (see all Chronologs until 1999). Someone changed where the bezel was measured, but the watch didn’t change. (I’ve sold them for 16 years.)

  3. Gerald Finn’s Breitling

This is a watch that takes on a whole new personality when one changes from a bracelet to a strap.

  9. Colt 2 SuperQuartz / Aeromarine / 41.1mm SS / date, 8-year battery life, battery EOL indicator, WR 500m

The Colt 2 quartz is engineered to be the most rugged of the Breitling watches. The configuration shown (“silver” dial with brown croc strap on SS deployant) is, I think, the most elegant possible. I also have a Pro 2 SS bracelet.

    Colt 2 SuperQuartz

  10. Chronomat 1 / Windrider / 40.5mm SS-18K / chronograph, date
The Chronomat Classic is a masterpiece of postmodern styling. This is one of the last (ref # B13050) models with the original dial style. It has recently been rebuilt at a Breitling service center. The Rouleaux (“bullet”) bracelet is also a postmodern masterpiece and comfortable, too.

  11. 2008 Avenger Seawolf 1 / Aeromarine / 44mm Ti / date, WR 3000m
The original Titanium Seawolf is an engineering masterpiece. It is really small and light – considering that it is designed to withstand water pressures that would crush a nuclear attack submarine like a beer can.

    Avenger Seawolf Ti

  12. 2000 Chrono Colt 1 Automatic / Aeromarine / 41.5mm SS / chronograph, date
The old chrono Colt automatic used the same movement as a Chronomat. This late model (ref # A13335) is COSC certified. It is sturdy, scratch-resistant, accurate and reliable.

  13. Chronomat Evolution.kitted with the extremely rare slate dial ancillary UTC module. The factory OEM diamond bezel contains 1.14 TCW Top Wesselton (E color, VVS clarity – near flawless) diamonds, This specific configuration of Chronomat may well be the only example extant. 43.7 mm / Stainless steel / automatic / Chronographe date / COSC certified.

  14. Thank you for this post. I think BREITLING have always made wonderful watch. They have one of the best lines of watch in the market out there. This company craftsmanship is Marvelous. They don’t make it anymore like They do.
