Last Friday night I went out to dinner at a sportsbar in center city Philadelphia. The Phillies were playing the Mets, so four friends and I figured it would be a great place to watch the game. We sat at a table right in front of the projector, the Phillies won and the food was great; it could not have gone much better.
As we were finishing our meal, I turned around and saw a guy standing no more than five feet away from me; he was rocking a black button-down shirt and a white dial Super Avenger. I immediately recognized that it was Hall-of-Fame Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman.
Next to Troy was Fox Sports announcer Joe Buck. I have always been a Joe Buck fan, so I spoke to him for a bit and told him that I really appreciated his work. I pieced together that the reason why they were in Philadelphia was that they were calling the Eagles vs. Packers nationally-televised NFL game Sunday on Fox.
Anyways, I have never been a Troy Aikman fan. Living in Philadelphia teaches you to hate anything and everything affiliated with the Dallas Cowboys. I must say though that seeing him with a Super Avenger on his wrist definitely made me look at him in a different light.
I guess this is the power of Breitling. Anyone that is part of the Breitling clan cannot be that bad, right?
